Thịt lườn gà rửa sạch, để ráo, cắt miếng vừa ăn và ướp với 1 muỗng nước tương, 2 muỗng bột bắp trong 15 phút cho thấm. Hành lá rửa sạch, cắt khúc. Tỏi, gừng băm nhuyễn. Đun nóng chảo với dầu ăn, cho thịt gà vào xào chín thì để riêng ra dĩa.
Tiếp tục dùng chảo đó, cho tỏi gừng băm vào phi thơm, sau đó thêm sa tế, đường, 1 muỗng canh nước tương vào chảo rồi đảo thật đều. Sau cùng cho hành lá, thịt gà vào đảo 3 phút nữa là có thể tắt bếp nha.
